QC Technician, Packaging

Inspect packaging materials and finished packs, so what reaches customers matches the approved standard.

What you will do

• Inspect incoming packaging materials against specifications and approved samples.
• Check labels, coding, closures, cartons and fill levels during and after packing runs.
• Record inspection results and raise non-conformances.
• Release or hold packaging lots as instructed by the quality lead.
• Maintain retained samples and inspection records.
• Work with production to resolve quality issues on the line.

What we look for

• Diploma or degree in a technical field, or relevant experience in quality inspection.
• Experience inspecting packaging or finished goods is preferred.
• Sharp eye for detail and defects.
• Ability to use gauges and follow acceptance criteria.
