Packaging Development Specialist

Select and develop packaging that suits each formula, from bottles and pumps to cartons and labels.

What you will do

• Recommend pack formats that suit the viscosity and stability of each product.
• Evaluate packaging samples and run compatibility and leakage tests.
• Work with vendors on specifications, tooling and decoration.
• Prepare packaging specifications and approved samples for production and quality.
• Balance appearance, cost, sustainability and filling-line compatibility.
• Coordinate artwork requirements with design and regulatory teams.

What we look for

• Degree or diploma in packaging technology, engineering or a related field.
• Experience in cosmetic, personal care or FMCG packaging.
• Knowledge of plastics, glass, closures and printing and decoration methods.
• Good vendor-management skills.
