Senior Cosmetic Formulation Scientist

Lead the development of personal care formulations from brief to laboratory validation and transfer to the plant.

What you will do

• Develop and optimise formulations across skincare, body care, hair care and fragrance-led products.
• Plan stability, compatibility and performance tests, and interpret the results.
• Translate customer and brand briefs into technically feasible products.
• Work with quality, sourcing and production on scale-up and batch transfer.
• Keep development records and regulatory documentation complete and accurate.
• Mentor junior formulators.

What we look for

• M.Sc., M.Pharm or equivalent in chemistry, cosmetic science or a related field.
• Proven experience formulating cosmetics or personal care products.
• Strong knowledge of emulsions, actives and preservation systems.
• Clear, organised documentation.
